| Shingles/Neuropathy
Has anyone else gotten neuropathy from the shingle virus? My husband's neurologist thinks the shingles virus has disseminated throughout his body in the dorsal nerves. He has been on valtrex for a year and has seen quite a bit of improvement. My husband,52, had cancer when he was 16 and had a year of chemotherapy. He also had his spleen out at the time. Since he has a compromised immune system he couldn't fight the virus. Aussie, I'm hoping the nerves continue to regenerate. I remember your saying that when you find the culprit the nerves will begin to heal.
