Strange cramping and pulsing in my right leg
I was recently diagnosed with neuropathy in both of my legs via Nerve Conduction study and EMG. The extent of leg difficutly was pins and needles in my right foot. I also recently had been experiencing weak feelings in my arms as well. I have been fearing ALS for the past month. Wednesday I had my Nerve Conduction test and EMG done on my upper body. EMG was clean (phew). Still waiting on my Nerve conduction study results and blood work.
Here is my dilemma. This morning I woke up and on my way to the bus stop began having a very strange feeling just below my right knee. It almost caused my knee to buckle but it didn't. Throughout the day I've had strange pusling feelings, achy and slight burning sensation in my right leg and in my calves.
I'm beginning to fear the worst again. I only started Cymbalta 5 days but these right leg feelings started today.
I am very new to this neuropathy so the first thing that keeps coming to my mind is ALS. I keep peforming balancing tests to test my leg strength. Although i can stand on both legs independently the right one does seem wobbly to me. It takes some time to get it right on my right leg. does that mean anything?
I had a normal EMG on my lower body back in April of this year which was only 3 months ago.
I'm hoping this aweful disease isn't hitting me all of a sudden now. I do suffer from extreme anxiety as well so any little ache now I think is that.
Any thoughts would be greatly appreciated.
