been experiencing random shooting pain all over the body especially bones, some docs suspected a slip disc but its not , sonography and blood tests clear, could someone advise plz
Hi sudhirmystery, I'd definitely go visit a neurologist if I were you. I couldn't make an accurate guess what is going on with you (and I'm certainly not a doctor) but I get shooting pains too and I'm still in limbo stages of being diagnosed with anything. PN is suspected but that's all I know for now. It's great that you don't have a slipped disc and that your blood tests were fine. You might need to get some more MRIs in order to figure out what's going on.
thnx for the reply , iv actually visited a neurologist today and taken a MRI scan of the spine- (awaiting results). would post in the results, do u have the same symptoms ??

mri scan seems to be alright, seems to be a calcium and vit B6 defeciency, if u have the same symptoms then it would be better to go in for a complete blood test which would include check of calcium and B6 and thyroid (normal blood tests do not test these aspects)

Hi, sudhirmystery, glad you were able to pinpoint a possible reason for your pains. I hope with a higher calcium and B6 intake, you start to feel better! I've already been through extensive bloodwork and all my levels are fine. I have a thread on the neuropathy forum about my specific neuro issues.

tnx hope higher calcium levels would help and hope u could find a solution to yr problems as well, anyways if u would need more opinions u can post it and i would check it out with my doc here. goodluck
