Hi cocoa, I take avinza, a 24 hr timed release morphine for severe to moderate chronic back pain . I also have adhesive arachnoiditis which causes severe neuropathy in legs, hands, face, chest & the avinza does help with the pain assaciated with the neuropathy but the constant numbness, vibrating "buzzing" continues! I truly hope the morphine helps you as well!
i recently was prescribed ms contin for neuropathy pain has anyone had any good or bad experince with this medication. please share good or bad

Good luck with the MS Contin. I am currently trying it after 3 years of oxycodone and the results so far aren't very good. Don't know if it is dosage related or what. Took 45-60 mg Oxy with Lyrica with very good results. Now am still taking Lyrica but with 15mg MS Contin twice daily.
What is your dosage and have you been on other opiates before?
thanks gmak i am currently taking tegretol for the burning. vinegar yes i am taking hydrocodone 10mg 5 times a day now just statring off with 15mg of the mc contin at night along with the hydro. not sure about the ms contin during the day because i still work.

Dear cocoa, What causes your neuropathy, if not too nosy?
Hi Cocoa100, I have not tried that medication. I am on a patch called Butrans 10/ug. It works well with the 450mg of lyrica & 60g of cymbalta. I take oxycocet for break through pain which may be 1-2 a day. This combination works well for me. Best of luck. June

thanks june but i can not us adhesive for a long period of time allergic, and had bad reaction to both lyrica and cynbalta leg cramps, swollen feet and ankles
