b12 level is 360, but still symptoms...pls respond

Hi all.

I am very confused. I experience alot of b12 deficiency symptoms, but my level is 360. Doctor think its all anxiety. I have for the last couple of years experienced digestive issues, and therefore I have tried to only eat fruit, vegetables and wholewheat. I dont eat alot of meat and diary products or any other products that would contain b12.

Symptoms:

anxiety/depression
confusion
buzzing/burning feeling in feet
bug crawling feeling on body
tiredness
lack of apetite
weak muscles
clumsiness
sore legs/shoulders and neck
decreased sense of feeling in feet and toes and pretty much all over my skin.

I have noticed that I dont digest food that well, could that mean I might not consume b12 very well too?

Is possible to even have b12 deficiency symptoms with a level of 360?

Thanks all..

It is possible you could be low on B12. The test for B12 gives a basic idea of your B12 level, but it's not extremely precise. You could start taking a B Complex vitamin (don't overdo it, though. It IS possible to get too much, espec. B6).
Perhaps a "B 500 Complex" for a few months, then get your B12 tested again.

I am new to this B12 deficiency thing, and am still awaiting test results from my gastro doc for pernicious anemia, but it is my understanding that blood levels can appear normal without proper amounts stored in tissues. At least that's what my gastro said after my colonoscopy/endoscopy when I asked him why, if I was on B12 sublinguals for 2 months and the levels had come up in bloods, did I still feel so awful?

Anyone hear this same thing?
