| MTHFR Gene abnormal
I have been diagnosed with abnormalities of the MTHFR gene.
I have been having alot of problems for a couple years and after several doctors, I went to a doctor that specialized in nutritional defiencies. He has ran alot of blood test (10 tubes).
I received a letter about the MTHFR gene and a prescription for Metanx. I am to be retested in a month.
I also have low d which I have been battling over a year. 14 on the first test, 20 now. I am on 10,000 units of D3.
I have never heard of MTHFR - anyone else have it?
I am 53 - beginning menopause, had historectomy in '85. Had two kids, problem carrying second one but both are fine. I know this can cause problems with miscarriages because it deals will folic acid.
The letter said my kids need to be tested both grown.
