Quick question about blending certain foods
Hi, I'm just wondering, for my own personal reasons I do this, I want to know does the body absorb food the same way?
So in my case, if i throw some veggies like broccoli and carrots in the blender, does the puree absorb the same way as if I ate the broccoli and carrots whole?
When I eat pasta for instance, if i was to add a whole bunch of veggies, some whole grains, and something else..it would take me forever to eat the dish. But if i made a puree of it all, the more I add the more variety and the more nutriition. I know it sounds odd and gross but with my conditions I have to make the adjustments and the taste/texture doesn't bother me at all.
I have certain disorders and I eat extremely slow sometimes i like to puree my food so eat it quicker.
