am i not eating enough?

So for the past year or so i have been extremely tired and weak; i had thought it was anemia but my results came back negative. A friend told me that I wasnt consuming enough calories, and that could be what is causing my fatigue. On a typical day i eat 3 meals, plus a couple snacks. I have an application on my ipod that counts calories for me. I usually eat between 900-1200 calories but because I am on the dance team at school I dance for about 3 hours 3 days a week, plus yoga and walking so i burn alot off. On a typical day my net calorie intake is about 500 calories. Is this why I get tired so easily?

In my opinion you should go back to the calories you had before so you won't be so tired and weak and to do your body better.

but because I am on the dance team at school I dance for about 3 hours 3 days a week, plus yoga and walking so i burn alot off.

I would cut down to an hour of walking, skip the dance and yoga to improve health.

I suspect this is too few probably for most people even inactive ones.

Is this why I get tired so easily?

I think it probably is at least a couple of the reasons yes.
