What is the best kind of Magnesium?

I have heard that there is bad forms of magnesium that causes diarreah and isn't well absorbed. Does anyone know what are the good forms? I don't mean the brand I mean the chemical name. For instance magnesium oxide?

Re: What is the best kind of Magnesium?

Thanks tons! My husband has a neurological disease that causes spasms and magnesium has been suggested to me for a possible help in his condition. What we tried before gave him even more spasms because he had diarreah.

I will get some of the good stuff ASAP!
