Foods to Increase Appetite?
I know this sounds really weird because most people want foods that decrease appetite but I'd like to know if anyone knows of anything that will increase it. I had a dexa scan for body composition and found the results to be a bit disturbing, though nothing I didn't know already. Based on those results, I calculated that in order to be within normal bmi ranges I need to lose 20-30 lbs.
My problem is that I am on adderall for hypersomnia. I take it up to 3 times a day and it really messes with my appetite. On a normal day, I will usually only eat around 800 calories. Again, by my calculations based on my height, weight and activity level I should be eating about 1,260 calories a day. I think this may be why despite dramatically increasing my activity level I haven't really seen any significant change in my weight.
Anyone have any suggestions on foods I can eat that might help me?
