My doctor ordered the saliva test to check my adrenals, and they were ok, but today he told me that there was a high positive reading of 48 for gluten sensitivity. Anything over 15 is considered positive.
Do what??

I don't have any symptoms that I know of due to gluten.
(I am hypo-thyroid and am on natural thyroid hormone replacement for that.)
So am I sick and don't know it? Do I need to go on a gluten free diet if I have no symptoms?
I'm really stunned to learn this and am hoping someone here can shed some light on this. I need to drop 15 pounds that I gained during the time I was being diagnosed for hypothyroidism . Will eating gluten free make it harder or easier to lose weight? Thank you in advance.
P.S. I have no idea what to have for breakfast and isn't that silly to even worry about it?
