I know it sounds trite, but just don't eat dairy. There is a plethora of 'milks' made from almonds, rice, hemp, soy, or quinoa. Coconut milk yogurt is good for cooking. Get sorbet instead of ice cream. When you go out to eat, ask what the sauces are made from. It is not that hard when you consider the alternative of how bad you feel and all the trips to the restroom when you eat dairy.
