Lecithin is a fat emulsifier, and helps you lower your overall cholesterol.
The Atkins diet consists of four stages.
The Atkins website explains this in detail and provides recipes for each stage of the diet.
If you follow the Atkins plan, you will probably experience moderate headaches after about two days. These are temporary and due to your body's transition into a fat metabolism.
You will also lose about 6-10 pounds during the first week.
This will be primarily accumulated water but will also be the start of getting rid of the stored fat.
Keep in mind that Atkins is a "Way of Eating" and not just a diet.
The basic premise is that of stabilizing the blood sugar and burning the stored fat as fuel.
If you go back to the old way of eating, you will gain the weight back.
