Hey Girl...I just had to share this with someone. I ate dinner today and it consisted of three vienna sausages and about 12 pork rines and a little cup of the low carb chocolate milk and GUESS WHAT?!?!?!?!?!
I AM FULL I don't want to eat anything else and I didn't want anymore of what I had. I hope the full feeling stays with me till tomorrow.I swore not to eat after 6:00 pm anyway. I just can't believe I am full

YOU GO GIRL!! Resisting McDonalds...don't think I could do it!! I always complain about being home without a car all day, but right now that is really saving my butt!

I ate baked chicken, potatos, and green beans, and it lasted me for a few hours. This time, I just had a small bowl of cereal instead of inhaling every thing in my path. I must really have an addiction to eating at bedtime, cause those cravings are like nothing else I ever feel during the day.

So how does the Atkins food taste? I always think that if they turn a high carb food into a low carb food, it will make it taste funny or gross. Have you found any winners?

Christin...I know exactly what you are talking about with the bedtime cravings. Its like something takes ahold of me and just says every sweet thing in the house EAT IT! or anything good for that matter too. It is much harder later in the night then anytime through the day. Last night I didn't stick with my rule of not eating after 6:00. I was dissapointed in myself but I just couldn't beat the urge. About 11:00 I had some turky and one oreo cookie...thats a no no for me but I guess one is better than 5.After I ate that one thought I was fine. I think it's something with me that if I say I can't have it well then I gotta have it.

I did find some ok stuff with the Adkins products..The milkshakes aren't to bad kinda a malty taste without the carbs though. I can't stand to drink it just not a whole lot at a time. Which I suppose is good. The chocolate milk I got taste the same. But I expected that. I just tried to find anything chocolate cause thats the main thing I crave so bad. I don't plan to stick with the low/no carb diet forever just till I can actually talk with a doctor or someone in the field that can guide me to healthy eating. I don't know which way to go right now so starting with the low carb thing was my best bet. And it's not all that bad..I can have meat,cheese,tuna,pork skins,eggs,bacon,sausage and all of these things except the tuna I would eat anyway. So hopefully this will jump start weight loss so I can see some improvement and really get motivated with that.

I do love bacon and eggs, and LOVE cheese...but somehow it isn't the same without the toast or bread! I am just way too addicted to bread. I really like boiled eggs...just the whites, which are pure protein, no fat. Well, I DID like them until I started eating so damn many of them lately! Why is it that I get sick of something that I DO LIKE so quickly when it is healthy, yet for years I could eat pizza every day?

I get sick of things easy to when it's what I'm suppose to eat but if I don't have to I want it....I'm crazy as a nutty squirrel Maybe its that we know there so so many good foods out there and we are eating this certain food and can't have much of the other good foods....that probably makes no sense at all. I think no blood is going to my brain because I didn't have any pizza...LOL Our mind is something I can never understand because all the while I'm eating something I like I'm thinking about hum I'd like to have something else.
