No matter how well meaning family and friends are when they talk to you about your weight, the result can be opposite of what their intentions are. When people used to mention my weight, I felt judged and it was awful.
I wished there were a "miracle" cure. But I think sometimes we have to want to change because we love ourselves enough to make the changes. I know that sounds simple, but I believe it to be true.
Instead of focusing on your weight, maybe you can start by focusing only on eating a healthy diet? Everything else will fall into place.
