Help - Doctors can't seem to - Obesity Message Board

I'm in search of a cat scan machine in the united states that can hold a person over 500 pounds. I have been in and out of the hopsital with what they believe are blood clots and swelling and hardening of my leg for several years but they can not be sure if they're treating me appropriately because there's not machines in the area for obese people.

Is ther anyone out there that can help me or direct me to someone who may be able to help. I'm worried that I'm being misdiagnosed and medicated.

Brookhaven clinic in New York has equipment. I have seen their stories on Discovery Health channel, and they do amazing work there. They are decicated to assisting the obese with compassion and dignity.

There is also St. Lukes Hospital in Manhattan.

I am trying to find something in your area, but most of the places I am finding are in New York.
