PMS and OCD

I've noticed that during PMS my OCD gets worse. It's taken me several months to figure that out. Now that I am aware I'm trying to figure out what I can do to relieve the OCD symtoms during that time. Any suggestions?

You know, now that you said that I think I see a correlation too!

Re: PMS and OCD

Yeah, my OCD also gets worse with PMS. Actually, everything does, lol. Hmmmn, as for suggestions? Relaxation techniques, I suppose. I take a lot of baths when I have PMS and this helps, and I also drink lots of herb tea, but watch out for herbs if you're on medications. Exercise helps, too. Slow walking in the evening by yourself.

Re: PMS and OCD

Try this regimen: Vitex Chaste, 500mg B6, 5 HTP (if not taking an SSRI), progesterone in oil sublingual, cal/mag supplement, reduce sugars during luteal phase.

I've done this for 4 months, OCD is virtually gone.
