Do you think a relationship would work if the other was depressed, had ocd, etc?

I was just wondering your opinions on this. Do you think a man and a woman who both had mental problems could do well together. I have OCD. I wonder if I could date a guy who also had OCD. Yes, you would relate to eachother, (Here is OCD speaking) How could you reassure eachother when you have the same problems?

Just thinking out loud..

I think it might work out, as long as your obsessions don't clash.

Yes, sometimes. But at other times your differences can get hard to live with. For instance, Let's say someone had OCD in which they had to get out of the car to check if they had run over something. However, their partner had to get to work at exactly the time they were supposed to and for some reason couldn't leave early and they only had one car. Now this is an extreme case and probably not a probable one, but it could be hard adjusting. But, like Gotta_Escape said in so many words, if there is a will, there is a way. Maybe it might work out for you, I don't know. How will you know unless you try?

I was just thinking outloud as well.... you could reassure eachother in a different way. If you know exactly what the other person is going through, it might be easier to reassure. It's hard to explain, but you might be able to not feel as lonely because you aren't the only one.
