Whenever I'm in a situation in my room where I don't want people to be watching me like getting changed after a shower, I have these constant thoughts that someone is peeking through my blinds. Now even if my blinds are shut, I still think in some way someone can see me, through the tiny little holes or just from a place I'm not aware of. I've even gone outside my window numerous times to see just how well people could see me if in fact they were. I'm always looking over my shoulder, thinking my friends walked up the road and have decided to play peeking tom. Does anyone else have these thoughts? I read somewhere that pregnant women go through this but I ain't pregnant! I don't know if it's a feeling of guilt and shame caused by insecurities or if it stems from the fact that I dislike people looking at me. But just the thought of this makes me embarrassed and then I begin to act as if I am indeed being watched, like how I would feel and act if I was embarrassed in a public place with real people staring and laughing. I just want to cover my face and hide- and I am already tucked away in my room!
