Hey guys, just need some reassurance because I'm crazy I was on Celexa 10mg for about six months, it was great but I was getting used to it. I switched to Lexapro 10mg today, took my first pill. Anyone have any thoughts about whether it'll make me anxious, irritable, or depressed like celexa did when I first started?
I just started taking lexapro yesterday - what were your side effects when you first started? Also, what is the "average" dosage for lexapro? My doctor started me on 10mg but I wasn't sure if she'd gradually increase my dosage.

Thanks for the responses. I think a general dose fo lexapro is 10. I took my first pill yesterday. I did feel naseous for the rest of the day after I took it but that could be from a lot of things. I always keep in mind that I could easily "think" I'm having side effects, considering I take it for GAD and OCD, we like to "think" a lot of things.
Alwayz Stressed, is this your first experience with medicine? If so, that could be a factor in side effects.
