Wine

HI,I WAS JUST WONDERING IF WINE IS OK TO DRINK, I AM ON ZOLOFT AND I KNOW YOU CANT DRINK ALOT I ONLY THOUGHT HALF A GLASS WOULD BE OK WHAT DO YOU ALL THINK ??

of course im not a doctor and this is just personal advice but from experience and what ive read yes you can drink moderatly. apparently what happens is this. alcohol is a known depressant so when you have a drink it lowers your "good moods". so it almost counters the med you are on but i have been on zoloft and i did drink when i was on it but im not a heavy drinker so i would only have 1-3 drinks once in a while and i didnt seem to have any adverse effects. i am on celexa which is in the same family and ive had the odd drink and it has no effects on me so my advice is that it is ok to have a couple of drinks once in a while.
