From what I have read, and my doc agrees, they don't know. It could be
a chemical change in the body. But it could also be that with reduced anxiety
and reduced depression, people begin to feel better and -- as a result --
eat more.
I know that when I am really anxious, I do not eat. My stomach locks up.
I've never understood people who turn to food in stress. So I can very
easily see where, for me, a reduction in stress and depression would lead
to an increase in appetite.
I also wonder if by reducing the anxiety, you are slowing a body's metabolism.
Just my thoughts.
