Okay, I am posting this because I want to know if I'm the only one or if anyone else has these types of dreams. Ever since I've been on Luvox I dream every night and the dreams seem extremely real to me. I feel like I'm in them; with people talking in conversations to me etc. I wake up and I just can't believe what just happened in whatever I'm dreaming.

THIS IS VERY DISTURBING and I'm kind of afraid to even post this here. Last night, I had a a dream....here goes: one of my best friends was in it and she was leaving a grocery store by her house and these two mean lesbians (they somehow knew her and liked her) held her down on her car and impregnated her. Meaning, that somehow one of them had sperm on her finger and deposited into my friends vagina and she became preganant as a result.

I can't get this terrible vision out of my head. I can't go for therapy until next month because my insurance covered sessions are up and I have to pay $100 per visit.

Does anyone have any thoughts, ideas, etc. as to why I would dream something so bizzare????????????

I know how you feel and it is normal when on these meds to have this happen to you!! i have whacky dreams every night where i kill people, am in strange places just bizarre stuff! the other nights was me being at west edmonton mall and there was a new wave pool and i didnt know why i hadnt heard of it but it was a ride that simulated the ocean!! it was made of foam and it felt wavy and wet just like it but there was no water!! i have about 10-15 differnet dreams a night! ive ALWAYS had these kind of dreams and they use to be nightmares. i had one where i cut a person up and buried them in my back yard but i could smell rotting flesh in my dream and what i would feel like had i have killed someone!! for the longest time i couldnt look at my back yard without shivering!! its something we have to live with.

Thanks Hayley! I feel so bad for dreaming things like this but why should I feel bad right? It's not like we can help how our minds work sometimes. It's just so strange..... Thanks again, Beth

I always have this kind of disturbing dreams too,i dont know why but these days i feel like i had them in real life theres almost no difference between reality and my dreams sometimes-and they go on after i wake up!!!i feel people touch me do sexual things!for example in a dream i was holding a sticky thing that was in my hair after i woke up i still felt it in my hand.

I used to have really horrible dreams of cutting up people, body parts all over, people hunting me down etc even without being on any drugs. Things have gotten much better and I no longer wake up in a cold sweat every night since my anxiety has tapered off. It all has to do with stress and anxiety that makes you dream violent or horrible things.
