Things to say to yourself when you get in these moments.

I thought it would behelpful to make a list of suggestions of things we can all say to ourselves when we are questioning whether it is ocd or we are really
crazy, not in love, wanting to commit harmful acts, etc.. etc... whatever else.
that way we can support each other
i know that when someone provides a helpful quote or something they say to themselves, it helps.
thanks, and take care

I don't even know who I'm quoting here, but:

"The past is the best indicator of the future."

Since my obsessions all begin with "What if I become _______?" I remind myself that I have never been _______ before, so just logically, the chances are good that I will never be ________. Fill in the blank: a psychopath, a truly insane person, a sexual deviant, etc.

That one seems to help more than anything.

My problem is that what if instead of we worry about "WHAT IF I BECOME_____" we say "WHAT IF I AM OR I HAVE BEEN_________ and WE were not aware of it?" now this one is a difficult one to deal with
