well as some of u know this weekend is my dentist appt something ive obssessed about so much it gave me full blown ocd with everything else in my life!! well since meds and other things ive tried, im beating this slowly but surely. ive been fearful of everything in my life for the last couple of years but tonight to prove i can do things that i once would NEVER ever do im actually taking a deep breath and going for it. tonight we went to an amusement park and i went on those swings that go in the air and a few other rides! i wouldnt have done that before but it made me able to rationalize in my head if i can do this i can do other things,like going to the dentist!! these meds have helped me so much, the only things i need to start doing is rationallizing that if i dont do something a certain way or number of times something bad will happen. for example, if i dont brush my hair 5 times then ill get bad news at the dentist but if i do do that everything will be fine!! well thats silly cause i know that brushing my hair has nothing to do with the news im going to hear! i wish others luck and will keep u posted on my visit.im actually hoping that with this enormous fear out of the way i wont feel the need to do this as much!
