I went through something very similar after I had my first child. I kept freaking myself out about everything. I too was always a bit anxious before my pregnancy. Later I found out that I had generalized anxioty disorder (GAD). There are medications for that, but I am no longer on meds as I have researched the subject and done lots of things like bio-feedback, yoga and other things to help me learn to relax and not worry. But if you need meds temporarily, see your doctor. While doing some of my own research, I found out about an author, Lucinda Bassett, wrote some books on this type of problem that really helped me. She suffered from GAD. You may want to look her up on the web to order her books, I highly recommend her books to help you to understand some of the things you are going through. My doctor did say that post pardum depression more than likely caused the GAD to get to the state that I was in at the time. Then my anxious mind just kept it going and eventually I started having panic attacks. I am doing great now. Try not to worry, you will be fine too once you figure out what you need to do.

Those are my recommendations to you.
