My pschiatrist just took me off of Zyprexa and switched me to Seroquel 25mg to augment the Anafranil.

Anyone have experience with Seroquel?

i took seroquel after zyprexa made me gain a lot of weight. it sadly didnt help sleep and didnt do much else, i found i didnt notice anything happen while on it at all. now im on risperdal, hope it works out for you though.

I was on a high dose (800mg) for 2 years. It made me put on a small amount of weight but nothing compared to Respirdal or Zyprexa. I would have to take it at night because it would knock me out. Trying to get up to go to the toilet 2 hours after taking it was a dangerous exercise. Often I would get severe restlessness 2 hours after taking it lasting for up to 2 hours. I was always slightly depressed on this medication and also mentally slow. I also had more thought disorder on this medication than off it (this is not new for me, respiridal and zyprexa did the same). On a whole however, if I had to take an antipsychotic I would take seroquel over and above anything else I have tried.
