Hello, i thought i had something a little funny with me sometimes, its nothing special, but im sure everyone has it, or OCD!
When i sit down at my computer the first thing i do it make sure my keyboard lines up exactly with the edge of the desk and the same for my mouse mat, i dont know why but i dont feel comfy sometimes without doing it, or watching tv i like to have the volume on a even number!! Its nothing much but i feel everyone has these kind of things happening to them all the time, so i think everyone has OCD in one way or another!

I think so too. I think it's only really "OCD" when it causes problems in your life. And I guess, if you let it, it can morph into something really bad--like Howard Hughes in that movie, forgot the name of it, where he sticks himself in a room and doesn't touch anything or shower or eat... That's when it's really a mental illness.

Yeah, to be honest moving things in-line sometimes doesnt cause me a problem in life, i dont do it for all things, just sometimes to some-things when im in the mood!

everyone has forms of OCD... everyone has forms of anxiety...

some obsessive thinking is healthy... or productive...
some anxiety is healthy... or productive... (well you gotta pay your bills on time, right?)

the difference is sorting through the much to figure out which are productive and which are static...

but you're right... its funny... we beat ourselves up over obsessional thinking, but every human being on the planet has some at some point or another...

I totally agree--I think people just have different levels. I know I have to erase a line if it's not straight.. or if there's a chalkboard with little bits not erased, it bugs the crap out of me and I just want to run up there and finish erasing. I'm kind of obsessive about being clean too, I can't stand clutter.
