Hi KD,
Oh geez, where to begin?
Yes, my son had thoughts like those alot. When he was first diagnoseed at age 15, he is now nearly 18 we did not know what was happening as his parents.
To make a long story short I purchased for him the "Attacking Anxiety and Depression" course by Lucinda Basset. What a help it was.
Secondy, the meds were a real help. Anafranil (daily)along with a little Ativan (as needed), gave us all back our lives and the thoughts diminished remarkedably.
Since he is close to 18 his meds have been lowewred to absolute minimum and he is doing better than ever. Soon he will just skip themaltogether.
I know, these types of thoughts can be tuff. If you have good support from your parents that is a big help. The course I mentioned is also a real help, and the meds are a real help. Diet is another factor and should not be minimized. Cut back on all sugar if possible, eat a high protein diet starting with 2 eggs every morning. Sugar has a way of messing with serotonin levels.
This should greatly improve your condition.
