The best thing that works with OCD is direct exposure to your fear (I almost feel you shudder in horror), but it works wonders. Try deliberately putting yourself in that position with a loud noise. Not too loud at first, just something you can get used to. Then move onto louder things. If you avoid a fear (ANY fear) it will only make you more sensitive to it, and it will effect you all the more.
