Hey
Yeah, I used to have similar problems, and still do surrounding food (especially when Im out drinking, fear of it being spiked). It all ties in with the oh so common contamination obsession. Its really good that you forced yourself to have just a little though.

Again, is just a fear of a possibilty that it MAY be poisoned or contaminated, however unlikely. It happens, but not a lot, and its the fact that it COULD happen which worries us and fuels the OCD. The best us completely perfect OCD'ers (and being perfect is our problem) can do is accept the risk, like everybody else does. I know this type of OCD can be unbearable though. Any type of OCD demands absolute certainty about risks and fears, but the world just does not contain zero risk. Ive made a fool out of myself so many times. Ive felt so ill in the past after eating something I considered to be "unsanitary", only to work out that I was feeling ill because of the anxiety surrounding my contamination fears.
