intrusive obsessions - Obsessive Compulsive Disorder (OCD) Message Board

Hello everyone. For the past 2 months or so I have had an overwhelming obsession. Day and nights I have these strange intrusive thoughts about peoples eyes. I wonder why do we have 2 eyes? And from there my thoughts manifest into fears and cause severe anxiety. Than I start obsessing over evolution or if God is the reason we look the way we do. I think about Darwinism, intelligent design, the humans anatomy. I can just sit and watch tv or just look in the mirror and have these strange thoughts. I just do not understand why they cause this overwhelming sense of fear in my belly. I am just wondering if anyone else has had these same feelings and so what they have done to help themselves. Hi, I Just Wanted To Share With You My Opinion, Maybe God Is Trying To Reveal Himself To U... Im A Born Again Christian, Im Not Trying To Preach At U Or Anything.. Just A Feeling That Maybe He Is Tugging At Your Heart A Little.... I Used To Wonder The Same Things Until I Found Out About Jesus.... I Hope This Helps....
