hi
i suffer from ocd and i take anafranil .i am 29 and am going to marry in 5 months.i stopped it few days ago because i cant endure its side effect anymore.i got married in 5 months and got pregnent .Will the anafranil that i have taken would affect me!i mean it will still have effect on the baby.
And does the anafranil have any effect on fertility?

please reply me coz am so worried

There are people who take tricyclics like Anafranil DURING pregnancy. After that lenghth of time the drug would be out of your system, and I seriously doubt it would have any effect on you or a baby. I never come across anything about these drugs damaging fertility.

If you are worried, have a chat with your doc, but I don't think there's any cause for concern.
