They insert a device in your brain and wires inside your skin, it sends electric stimulation to the brain to cut the thoughts short. BUT, i did find something else that is new, it is called TMS (transcranial Magnetic Stimulation) and is less invasive. They put a magnetic coil on the top of your head and send very low signals to your brain, they do it 5 days a week for 8 weeks in one hour intervals. It is still in a research stage, i called the university and made an appointment to go down to nyc to get evaluated to see if i qualify, the guy on the phone thinks i will. But we will see.
