so my husband is not working right now and he had a great interview, he had 2 interviews w/ the company in two days and we pretty much think he got the job but he has to wait about 1 week until the owner comes back from vacation - and he will call my husband. I am dying.. I am obsessing like crazy and I just want to know if he got the job or now... how would you handle it? of course I am obsessing on it and can't get it out of my head.

Wow, that's got to be like trying to ignore the elephant sitting in the living room.
I guess you just have to keep steering your thoughts up and over that thought.

Yeay, I know that I have no control over what happens, so that is probalby why I am obsessing more. Well he got a call yesterday that he got a job (in a bagel store) it was just a job for the meanwhile to bring in some money unitl he found a full time job - so now at least he can do that if he doesn't get the other one so that should make me feel better but you know ocd....

Congrats! Sounds like things are working out. Keep him motivated! Especially if he doesn't get the job! He is definitely going to need support not stress. It is hard for us OCD suffers to not flip out, but you have to control yourself on this one otherwise you will both be fliping out and then nothing will get done.
