| It's Back!! Sorry so long.
I have had OCD my entire life and it has always revolved around getting some kind of horrible disease. I did not seek help until later in life because my OCD seemed to worsen the older I got. I've been off and on Prozac the past 5 years. The Prozac seems to work for me. When I get off the Prozac the OCD always comes back. I've been off the Prozac for about 9 months and have had some little flare-ups but nothing big until about 3 months ago. I had some blood in my urine that I later found out was caused by a kidney stone but I was convinced I had kidney cancer and was dying. Once I had a CT scan and had "proof" it was a kidney stone and not kidney cancer I moved straight on to inflammatory breast cancer. I have not been able to move past this and went back to my doctor and got back on Prozac. I have been on the Prozac about 3 weeks and for the past week I have been taking 60 mg. It is better but definitely not gone. This go around has been so bad I'm never getting off the medicine again.
