Background: I was diagnosed with ocd about twelve years ago. I have worked in a deli for the last few months. My boss one time referred to herself as obsessive compulsive (not the disorder but the personality characteristic) because she is a neat freak. I have not told her about my ocd. All she knows is that I am a perfectionist. By the way, my name is Heidi.

Today: My boss was showing someone how to make sandwiches. She said, "For these sandwiches you have to be obsessive compulsive like Heidi." I thought to myself, "You have no idea" and laughed.

Thanks for the post! So good to see the humor in what we go through.

I used to run a small commercial bakery. Did it all by myself. I made the best stuff out there. Same reason - but it was darned good work.

Keep up those sandwiches!

Yes, Thanks For Sharing....it Is Funny, People At My Job Joke Too That I Am Obsessive Compulsive Or Anal And Give It To Debbie, That Is My Name, She Will Get It Done. Lol.....they Really Don't Know That I Am Obsessive Compulsive, They Just Joke Bc I Am A Perfectionist At Work, Lol..
