i have tried so many medications and attempts at CBT. i am now looking into this deep brain stimulation. you can do an internet search on deep brain stimulation ocd

i am trying to get an appointment for an evaluation

An abstract for the article, A Systematic Review of Psychosurgical Treatments for Obsessive-compulsive Disorder: Does Deep Brain Stimulation Represent the Future Trend in Psychosurgery? by Bruno et al in the journal Clinical Neuropsychiatry (Vol 3, no. 6, Dec 2006, 391-403.) states:
"DBS appears to be highly promising providing that its benefit is investigated with all due caution and is confirmed by further research in this area."
There are some abstracts for articles published after this one, but nothing terribly negative or positive.

i have seen different studies now with different levels of success

some more than others
