I have had OCD probably since Age 4 (I am now 29). Obsessive/fearful thoughts would run through my brain constantly. Basically, I would worry about the death of a family member, contracting diseases, etc... Finally, about 3.5 years ago I got on medication and I am so much better. I was first put on Lexapro and weaned off because I was gaining weight, but the anxiety came back. For the past two years I have been on Cymbalta.

My husband and I are thinking about starting a family and I have been reading about the side effects of Cymbalta and pregnancy and I don't think taking the medication will be an option for me.

I wanted to know what others have done who have severe fear/anxiety when off of their medication but wanted to start a family. Please let me know if you know of any homeopathic, non-medicinal options. Of course, I will talk to my doctor but wanted to talk to her armed with some information.
