Re: New member Long time suffer

No, not really. but how does that work. If you explain it i bet there is a lot of people who may relate. Are you just paranoid that something will happen with any of your relationships?

Re: New member Long time suffer

boomer,

I was that way for a long time. It's really hard to go throughout your day happy when you are constantly worried about who is looking at or talking to your significant other. But good news for you, I got over that! And I think I was pretty bad with it. I would just sit there and think "who is looking at him" "is he looking back" "did he just glance at her" and the questions just go on and on and onnnn. And then you have all the "what if" statements OCD likes to throw in there. But let me assure you... your head is totally exaggerating everything. So if someone looks at your significant other or they look at someone else, it lasts about one second and they move on with their day. Think of ways to settle your anxiety that comes with jealousy. It can be done. Think about when you see someone attractive... you might look for a second, then you look away and forget. That is all your significant other is doing too. I hope this helps. Let me know if I can help you in any other way with this. This is a hard issue to deal with. Just keep working with your mind.
