Well first of all, i dont mean to freak you out, cwesterman. OCD and schizophrenia are just commonly concurrent, having OCD does NOT mean you will develop schizophrenia. It just appears that a lot of people who have schizophrenia also have OCD. Basically, you shouldnt start worrying about having schizophrenia even if you DO have OCD unless you start developing schizophrenia symptoms, such as the auditory hallucinations ive been getting... *I* need to worry, you dont *lol*
And thanks for the advice Chrys, but if i tell a health care professional about this now it could really screw up treatment for me if i DONT have schizophrenia...you think it would be okay to wait a while? Like until im sure this is something persistant? Cause it hasnt been doing this for very long, and the hallucination never told me to do anything... i think we talked about Locke's definition of Self, and Plato's duality concepts ^^ It was kinda fun, really.
(and yes, Cwesterman, the name OCDemon relates to the disorder ^_^)
Best Wishes,
OCDemon
