i may have BDD - Obsessive Compulsive Disorder (OCD) Message Board

I spent years obsessing about a certain body part i don't like, to the point that i didn't get intimate with anyone until my late 20s. I obsess about it less now but i still don't like the body part. I also hate my stomach because it won't get perfectly flat no matter how many crunches i do every day. I look at myself all the time in mirrors, shop windows, even my rear view mirror. I also have a habit of disturbing any pimples i find on my face, usually making matters worse. I do this most when i'm nervous , stressed or depressed. Does this sound like BDD?

Do you feel that you are extremely ugly? Do you often hide out at home because you feel so ugly and would be horrified at the thought of somebody seeing you.
Do you constantly think of plastic surgery?

These are some common symptoms Body Dysmorphic Disorder.

I also have BDD. I belong to a forum which I found exteremely helpful for BDD and it covers O.C.D too
