Would you, please let me know what the average dose of Zoloft is, and what the average dose for OCD is? My doctor says I should gradually go from 75mg to 150mg, but I'm not sure about that as I already have some side effects, such as sleepiness. Also, do you think it's much more difficult to eventually discontinue the medicine when one is on higher dose?

I know I am very reluctant to answer questions about medications because I am not a doctor and I would never want to feel responsible if you had a reaction in anyway to the dosage amounts. I am sure a lot of other people feel the same way.

It is best to talk to your doctor about it.
