| Questions about germs: lifetime etc
Hello,
i have the compulsion to wash. I would like fristly to ask questions about germs, the answers might help me overcome some aspects of this behaviour. I don't have that fear of illnesses, but only disgust.
So please take your time if you know.
1. How long do germs of the human body live? How long on dry places, how long on wet?
2. How fast do they stick to something? For example my jacket touches a stinky garbage can for a very short period (half a second), is it enough time for germs to come over? Will opening a door knob very fast help?
3. Has every human being different germes? There is this thought that foreign germs are more disgusting, but if they are the same germs anyway, that would help.
4. now the hardcore: what is acutally going over from the genitals? how long do these germs live? Why are they disgusting? Aren't they disgusting but only a danger to health, is that all? Is the only reason we should avoid this a health issue? Or is it okay to abstain from those just for the sake of revulsion?
