Hello well i dont know how to say this but i feel so limited to my life…..im currently seeking to see what problem i have but i cant seem to find it if anybody could help thanks i suffer from a problem were i think that if i do something i did a month ago it will cause something bad to happen i cant to do anything i did a month ago or 2 weeks ago cause i feel like it will cause something bad to happen does anybody know whats wrong im a 17 year old seeking help….
Hi I would get outside and get fresh air and sunshine and get good food into a body. I would get 8 hours sleep. I would drink about 9-10 glasses of water every day if I were a 150 pound person. I would seek to benefit others for the purpose of happiness. I would not bother doing the medicines many people think are so wonderful because they cause problems with the body in the long run some of them are permanent body movement problems and stomache aches, kidney problems, liver problems etc. and those medicines should not be sold in my opinion.
I would avoid drugs, alcohol, tobacco, coffee, tea etc.
May a person have a better life as a result of doing what is good and healthy for the body.
Peace.
The treatment is cognitive behavioral therapy (CBT), it's very effective.
If you're depressed too (who wouldn't be with OCD?) antidepressent meds can be added to boost you up a bit till the talk therapy (CBT) kicks in.
Any regular doc can give you a referral to a therapist. You might be able to find free or cheap therapy services in your area, look for doc's who offer "sliding fee", it means they'll only charge what you can pay (even if that's nothing).
