I have no idea if this might help at all, but I know two ways that sometimes help to stop intrusive thoughts.
One that I've heard of is called the thought-stopping method. Whenever an intrusive thought occurs, you immediately imagine a big stop-sign with the word STOP! on it.
Another one is called the rubber-band technique. You're supposed to wear a rubber band and whenever an intrusive thought comes you snap the rubber-band.
I don't know at it if this might help, but ir's certainly worth a shot.
