I was diagnosed with ttp in february of 2002. have not been able to locate or speak to anyone else with this disease. would really like to contact someone else so that i feel i am not the only one with this disease. any respsonse would be welcome. thank you.

ttp stands for thrombotic thrombocytopenic purpura---its a blood disease where your platlets destroy themselves. any help or support you could give would be helpful.

There's a non-profit TTP Support Group run by and for families dealing with this blood disorder (thrombotic thrombocytopenic purpura. Based in Baltimore MD, they have a toll-free number here in that States - 800-765-5170.

Can't take credit for this found this info in the Rare disorders part of message board. Hope this helps.
