Hi,
Glad to hear this has helped your daughter, but it is just as effective for adults too. Personally, I cannot take herbs, as they make me vomit and upset my stomach generally, but I do have regular acupuncture treatment, which is really great.
In Chinese Medicine terms, 'Wind' invasion is an external pathogenic factor. These days, most peoples' immune systems are not as good generally due to our Western lifestyle, so rather than having a cold as the first sign and level of disease, this would now manifest in the internal organs as stomach pains and upsets and headaches, such as your daughter had.
Chinese Medicine is very effective for helping lots of things with herbal medicine as well as acupuncture, as they make their diagnosis on the basis of the whole person rather than just the site of the pain in the stomach or whereever it may be.
Good luck and keep up the good work, I intend to.
Sarah
