wrist lump?? - Open to All Other Health Topics Message Board

I tore a ligament in my knee and had to use cruches for weeks. while using the cruches my wrist started to hurt. Now I have a lump on the back side of my hand. I have looked around and found that the lump is over the Lunate bone or the scaphoid bone. No swelling or redness, just pain where the lump is, and hurts to use the cruches. Hurts my wrist when i bend my hand back. Is these bad??? do I need to see the Dr.????

Sounds like you strained the heck out of your hand. How big is this bump, just a swollen looking one or a definate lump like the size of a quarter or something? drs

Nothing on my wrist is swollen, just the lump on the back side of my hand. It is the size of a dime. It feels like a bone has come out place. If it is a bone I thought it really swell up and bruse. If it is not a bone out of place, what the heck is this???

Do you have good insurance or is money pretty tight?

Yes, I have insurence. I just don't want to look stupid or like I'm a hypocondreact(can't spell that word). Do you know of anywhere that I can talk to a doc and see if I need to really go to a doc. Or just let this go..
