Are you talking about the diet where you eat nothing but yogurt for a day? On another site where most of the people are following the Atkins diet, quite a few people have tried the yogurt diet for an added boost. Some people said it worked to take off a couple of pounds, and they kept it off . . . some thought they just lost water weight.
Carbohydrates include quite a range of foods, only ONE of which is starchy foods. While certainly people do need carbohydrates, personally, I think many people would do very well never to eat bread again (and certainly not white bread).
